Roscoe was born to Sheldon & Alice Breeden in Princeton, BC . His father Sheldon was living in Princeton with his Grandmother3 when he met and married Alice Partington in Keremeos, BC. The family travelled a bit with his sister Stella being born in California2. The family returned to Keremeos in 1918 where his Mother Alice passed away4.


In 1921 Roscoe is listed as an adopted son of Mrs. G. W. Armstrong of Cawston, BC5. Roscoe married Edith Klapstock in Penticton, BC in 1936 and in 1940 Roscoe and Edith where living at Copper Mountain where Roscoe is listed as a Miner6. They had two children before he enlisted with the Royal Canadian Armoured Corp.


Roscoe died of Pneumonia during training in Ontario.
