Johnny Brewer (aka Johnny Allison) was the eldest son of Matilda Surprise Brewer. Of a very large family, Johnny was a Teamster when he was drafted in the Canadian Expedition Forces in 1918.
Born in Princeton, he spent time in Keremeos finally settling with his wife Edith in Penticton where he passed in 1971.
