Jack Cohen was born in Keremeos and spent most of his time in the area as a general labourer before being drafted into the CEF in January of 1918 to serve with the 2nd Depot Battalion, BC Regiment. He was transfered to the 21st Battalion in France and was “dangerously wounded” in October of 1918.
He returned home to Keremeos where he settled in Cawston working as a Foreman in 1962.
